One Coach, One System, The Whole Valley
Most of the Nashoba Valley’s options are either 24/7 access gyms with no coaching or classes that run the same workout for a room of twenty. Ross Fitness is neither. You get a written program built around your body, coached in person in a room of no more than four — the same head coach, every session. It’s the depth of a personal trainer with the consistency of a place you actually belong.

Built For Adults In Their 40s And 50s
This isn’t a gym for 25-year-olds. Every part of how we coach — the movement screen, the injury-conscious programming, the pace — is built for people who used to be strong and want it back, without getting wrecked in the process. Real muscle, real strength, and a body that feels capable again.
The Post-Rehab Specialist In The Valley
Kyle is a certified post-rehabilitation specialist — the coach people come to after physical therapy ends and they’re still not strong. If you’re training around a bad back, bad knees, a hip, or a shoulder, that’s exactly who this was built for. Here’s what to do after physical therapy ends and more on post-rehab personal training.
How It Works: The Rebuild Program
Everyone trains on the same system: a movement screen and a written map of how your body moves, then strength built in the right order over six-week phases. That’s the Rebuild program. It starts with a free, no-pressure conversation — if it’s a fit, we’ll tell you; if it’s not, we’ll tell you that too.
FAQ
Where in the Nashoba Valley is Ross Fitness?
Ross Fitness is at 12 Central Ave in Ayer, MA 01432, with free parking outside. We coach adults from across the Nashoba Valley, most within a 7-15 minute drive.
What towns does Ross Fitness serve?
Ayer, Shirley, Groton, Harvard, Lunenburg, Littleton, Pepperell, Devens, and Leominster, plus surrounding Nashoba Valley communities. Each town has its own page with local details.
What kind of training is it?
Semi-private strength coaching: max 4 clients per session, each on their own written program, coached every rep by Kyle. It's not a class and not a 24/7 access gym. Movement screen first, injury-conscious, built for adults in their 40s and 50s.
Do you coach people coming back from an injury?
Yes. Kyle is a certified post-rehab specialist. Whether it's a bad back, knee, hip, or shoulder, we start with a movement screen and build strength around the injury. It's a common reason people find us after physical therapy ends.
How do I get started?
Apply through the website for a free, no-pressure in-person session at the gym. Kyle reviews it and reaches out. If it's a fit, you can usually start that week. There's no public pricing; the investment is discussed at the consult.
